Greg Bright (’97) has worked in various roles at Waffle House for nearly 25 years, moving through the ranks to his current position of Recruiting Director. Greg is responsible for the sourcing, hiring, training and managing of Operations Managers throughout the Atlanta and North Georgia area.

- Started all but one of the Bulldogs’ 46 games from 1994 to 1997
- Totaled a staggering 453 career tackles, which remain the second-most in UGA history.
- Before linebacker Amarlo Herrera accomplished as much from 2011-2014, Bright 17 years before had been Georgia’s last four-year starter on defense.
- 1994 Freshman All-SEC
- Started all 11 games for the Bulldogs as a true freshman in 1994, fourth on the team with 89 tackles, including two tackles and three tackles for loss, one forced fumble, two recovered fumbles and two interceptions
- Started all 11 games for the Bulldogs as a sophomore in 1995, second on the team with 93 stops, including two TFLs, and a recovered fumble
- 1996 All-SEC Second Team
- Started 10 of 11 games for the Bulldogs as a junior in 1996, leading the team with 143 tackles (11th best in school history), including two sacks, one forced fumble, two recovered fumbles and a team-leading three interceptions (Bright’s five INTs through the 1996 season were more than any ILB in Georgia history)
- 1997 All-SEC Second Team
- Started all 11 games for the Bulldogs as a senior in 1997, leading the team with 128 tackles, including a team-high three sacks and two recovered fumbles
